Why Improv?

Improv gives children the freedom to imagine, experiment, and embrace failure without fear. They learn to trust their own ideas, think on their feet, and connect with others—skills that sharpen problem-solving, self-expression, and empathy in school and beyond. Research shows that “yes, and…” games boost confidence, collaboration, and resilience by teaching kids to welcome surprises. If there’s one thing missing from typical after-school programs, it’s the chance to step off the beaten path and discover their own creativity and courage.
